The music of composer Dean Krommydas has been featured worldwide, in a variety of venues, including for film and television, albums, trailers, and software demos. Armed with a portfolio of diverse musical styles, he has composed the music for films such as Many Times Over starring Patrick Zeller, American Savage with Daniel Dasent, and also on the Forever Home series starring Kat Scicluna.
A prize winner and finalist in numerous competitions, he placed in the top ten at the prestigious Berlin International Film Scoring Competition. His instrumental work Of Times Gone By reached #1 in the charts out of over 40,000 entries streaming on Soundclick.com.
Dean has had longstanding working relationships with platinum & gold music producer Israel Tanenbaum and music producer Zennor Alexander [(BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky (UK), East West Soundsonline (CA)]. He was also consulted by Don Williams, president of Sonic Scores, to be a part of the early development and Alpha testing of Overture 5 sequencing and notation software.

Apart from multimedia, Dean enjoys writing classical works and arranging music for other artists. He began his composing journey as an autodidact and is also an inherent pianist learning to play by ear at the age of 7. He was later accepted into the Boston Conservatory and has received private instruction in piano, theory, composition, and orchestration, mainly under Tanya Schwartzman and Igor Iwanek. At present, he operates out of his studio in the lush woods of central Connecticut.
